Learn what information is—and isn't—on your credit report. It's difficult to plan for the future without analyzing where you stand today.  This means identifying and prioritizing your needs, assessing and understanding what impacts your current credit report.  Talking about these factors helps shape the advice our experts can offer and the strategy we'll build together to get you where you want to go.

Checking your credit report can help you spot information that may be inaccurate or incomplete.

If you see information on your credit report that you believe is inaccurate or incomplete, simply file a dispute, and we'll look into it right away.   Dispute investigations can take up to 30 days.

Once dispute is submitted, we’ll investigate and return your results.

If we do find that information on your credit report needs to be updated, don't worry. We'll take care of it.

If the debt is found valid,  our experts will write a Pay for delete letter asking that creditor debt collectors remove collections accounts from your report in exchange for payment.   Pay for delete happens when debt collectors remove collections accounts from your report before the 7 years in exchange for payment.

There are two things that influence credit scores when information is deleted from your credit history. The obvious one is that negative information is removed. That is the positive.  The less obvious issue is stability. Credit scores not only weigh the information in your credit report at a certain moment, they also consider your credit behavior over time. A stable account history showing consistent, positive behavior is important to credit scores. When negative information is deleted from your credit report, you probably won't see an increase unless you have positive accounts remaining or you have a plan for adding positive trade accounts.

The last step may be one of the most important. After building solid credit on your current financial situation.  We recommend that you review your financial needs, and goals periodically to determine if you are still making progress, especially when there is a change in jobs, marital status, or an addition to the family.  These things and more can affect your credit score.
